Mean proportional algebraic relation

If $b$ is a mean proportional between $a$ and $c$ , prove that $\frac{a ^{2} - b ^{2} + c ^{2}}{a ^{- 2} - b ^{- 2} + c ^{- 2}} = b^{4}$ .
